Regional Requests for Preproposals

NOAA, the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) Sea Grant programs and EPA Gulf of Mexico Program are releasing requests for pre-proposals (RFPs) for several different initiatives that total more than $3 million. This includes a Broad Area Funding Opportunity with three initiatives, and four individual Sea Grant RFPs for two-year research projects.

Broad Area Funding Opportunity

This opportunity focuses on specific activities that are regionally relevant to the Gulf of Mexico. This announcement includes three different initiatives:

* Coastal Storms Program
* Sea Level Rise Data, Products, and Tools
* Ecosystem Service Valuation

State Sea Grant Research RFPs

Each GOM Sea Grant program has released an RFP for funding in 2012-2013. Pre-proposals are due in early 2011. For more information about each RFP, visit the state Sea Grant webpages below.
